I was wondering if anyone else in here remembers this Halloween special that aired on HBO in the mid/late 80's. Charlotte played two characters in it. And she was hysterical as a punk-rock pirate (keep in mind, this was filmed around the time she left Facts Of Life in 1986... which makes it all the funnier knowing she was 60 by then) who sang a song in it.

well whoever made that site is downright nastey toward that movie!! and Charlotte Rae!!! I loved that movie!!! I thought it was hilarious to see charlotte rae playing somebody totally opposite that of mrs. garrett!!! I liked the movie a lot... and if you can rent it at a video store i strongly suggest it... you'll laugh your ass of at charlotte and her role becuase you totally see her as only mrs. garrett, but in reality she's not and we all know that but its just HILARIOUS!! see it!! it's great!! I love it!! and i love charlotte rae's roles... they're cute and funny and i think charlotte was perfect for the role!!

The Worst Witch... is that that movie starring Faruza Balk (sp?) as a, like, 10 year old witch at a witch academy who can't do any magic right? If not then I don't know what you're talking about. If it is that movie, I don't remember seeing Charlotte Rae in it, but then again I've only seen bits of it...

yes, the movie with a 10 yr old Fairuza. You don't remember Charlotte in it? When I saw it as a child, she was the first thing I noticed. She had a Cyndi Lauper wig in it, LOL

Well, like I mentioned, I've only seen bits of it and those bits were before I'd ever seen FOL, and never heard of Charlotte Rae
