I didn't really watch it the first time it aired, so hopefully I will catch it again when it re-airs.

Yeah, I taped it the first time it was played too. I also got a hold of a copy of it in widescreen with no commercials or ads. So I don't think I'll be watching it on tv.

awesome! i missed it when it first aired, even though i wanted to watch it! i don't think i liked mary & rhoda as much then... oh well, i'm definitely taping it now!!

I thought I'd bump this up since I just remembered the other day that this will be coming on. For a minute I thought I might have missed it already since I remembered something about the end of July. I can't wait for it to be on tomorrow night!

I'll admit it wasn't like the show, but then again it really wasn't meant to be like the show. It was Mary and Rhoda in today's world, not back then.

Yeah but it could have been at least "Something" like the old show...The first hour of the show was spent explaining the past twenty plus years!!!..It was a complete disaster without one single laugh!!..... It was a complete sellout ripoff!!

Unless I want to have a threeway with Rhoda and Mary I can't comment on this board?? It was horrible. I could not believe that they would hurt two sitcom classic characters by reuniting them. Some shows and characters need to stay where they are. In the past. I hope Carl Reiner will taint the great memory we have of Rob and Laura Petrie when The Dick Van Dyke Show reunites this fall.

WOW!! SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS!!...You've crystalized my thoughts exactly.....The whole point to me of the MTM show is she left an you wondered what happened...With that frigging movie all they did was explain what happened to them for half of it!!! DUMB! DUMB! DUMB!!


I feel they ruined All in the Family in syndication with that cheap "Gloria" show.....Because in the back of your mind you know the marriage failed when you watch....Just my imagination..but hell...It does effect me when I am lost in the TV world watching reruns...Same thing knowing Edith dies!!.....But Edith was at least understandable as Stapleton wanted out of the show!!..
