This quesion was probably answered before or everyone knows the answer. But, I see on here all the time about how everyone gets excited when "Paradise Lost" plays.
Why isn't this episode played? Is there something controversial about it? I've seen the episode and it seems like an ordinary Three's Company episode.
Thanks,
Tim

Apparently, Nick-at-Nite for a very long time did not want to air the episode because Larry and RF get drunk in it. *shrug* To me that's a very stupid reason not to air it, but that's N@N for you.

I honestly don't think that makes sense that they wouldn't air it before cause they got drunk, cause, hello take a look at "A Night Not to Remember"...I seriously think the guy who runs Nick @ Nite is on something lol.

what they sed b4, because of the drinking thing....

but i mean, thats a stupid reason, i agree with *ATVPeople* because i mean, Cheers is taken place in a bar with everyone drinking... and in this, nothing THAT bad is goin on ....

Ok I can understand why they won't show The Charming Stranger. But if they can show Days Of Beers And Weeds" Then why can't they show Going to Pot or Paradise Lost? DOBAW is a much worse episode then GTP. They use the words getting Stoned and Joints. N@N is so stupid and i hate them!

That's the episode that caused a lot of controversy because Jack's private parts falls out of his boxers. I taped that episode from TNN and they had a black bar that prevented viewers from seeing that scene. N@N just refused to air it.

Oooooh. Now I remember.
Yeah, I hate Nick @Nite now.
They are going to add Full House, Fresh Prince, and Roseanne.
Those shows aren't classic televison. They're just your average sitcom.
Three's Company, All in the Family, Cheers, etc are really the classic shows.
As opposed to Nick @Nite's usual five hours of Cosby, they should put on more Three's Company and All in the Family.

Full House really fits on N@N because it puts the F in Family Comedy and THree's Company puts the A in Adult Comedy which is why it should go to TBS

You never seen Going to Pot? I think GTP s worse because it deals with a Drug Bust. IN DOBAW, the Trio just stumpled into some marijuana

ohthehorror,
i agree with you about what are classic sitcoms! sitcoms like fresh prince, full house, etc. belong on tbs not n@nite. i also didnt think they should have put wings on n@n. i think it is an ok show, i watched it every now and then when it first aired, but no way do i think its considered a classic sitcom.

i think the theory behind the people at n@n, and putting all those other shows on, is that they consider a show that is, say, 5 years old, a classic sitcom. when in fact i think certain sitcoms are classics, and the others, no matter how many years pass, will never be classic to me, just funny sitcoms.

I know this is off topic, but I don't like how their adding new shows either. I mean, they completely skipped many late '70s and '80s sitcoms which I consider much more classic than Fresh Prince. I have nothing against the shows they're adding (well, okay some of them I do) but they are too recent. However, those shows get big ratings because their more recent than the classics, so I guess that's why they've gone in the 'modern TV classics' direction.

Nick at nite should just show the shows like they were first shown to the audience. Tell me why they edits shows that are being shown at 10 o'clock and later!!!! If they parents won't dont want them to watch the show dont let them watch it!!!

Nick@Nite should indicate to it's viewers that an edited episode has been modified from it's original airing. However, they are entitled to show an edited version or censor an episode all together. They bought the rights to air the episodes and I'm sure they have it in the contract that can they can edit episodes to fit their demographic and interests.

If Nick@Nite didn't cement the deal to air Three's Company, there is no guarantee that TNN or any other superstation would have.

It's pointless that N@N won't show GTP because of the subject. On regular shows drugs are talked about all the time so it doesn't make sense for N@N to not show the episode because of that. You don't even see drugs unlike in DOBAW where they show cannibis in the end.
