I'm just getting the vibe from you that you are not that eager to tape trade with me. That's what it seems like. Maybe it will take Mashunter18 to receive his tape for you to feel comfortable doing a trade with me. I guess it's because i don't have a reutation as a tape trader yet so it's completely understandable.

Okay, Solomon, I'll be truthful. You have rubbed me the wrong way on too many occassions. You've insulted and offended me and several other friends of mine any opportunity you got and while I am willing to let bygones be bygones on the SO boards, I really don't feel comfortable pursuing a trade with you.


I dont like the feeling of being pushed into a trade. Please, I'd like to leave the issue behind and just continue on at the boards.

Well that's all you has to say in the beginning. I'm not a stupid person I know the signs of someone who doesn't want to be bothered. So i guess all that I didn't check my email was just lies. And i didn't push you into anything, I just asked you a damm question whether you received the Maude Episodes. So i will just have to be patient and see if someone else has it. Perhaps she is uncomfortable with the fact that you crudely needled and harrassed her for weeks and then suddenly changed your tune when you realized she had something you wanted. How does she know you won't change your tune again as soon as you get the tape? Again, perhaps there is a lesson to be learned in how to treat people. You had your fun calling her mean names like "uneducated loser" and now it seems there's is a consequence to your actions.

I had you make the MO out to my husband's name because he handles our bank deposits but I handled the taping and the mailing myself. Matt's more than a fellow trader, he's my friend. That's how I know. Anyway, it doesn't matter. The bottom line is that you were frustrated about having your mailbox robbed and you took it out on me when I did nothing wrong. When I alerted you and told you what happened, u said give you about a week and a half since you was backed up with trades. Then after i waited and sent a email, never got a response at all. So yes i did act angry but i was just upset about having the tape stolen and being ignored by you. It was too much to take at the time.

If you only had enough respect to keep it private between us instead of taking it to the boards and had you not wrongly taken your frustration out on me, we would have been able to work it out and you'd have gotten your tape months ago. OK Matt let me explain

I may have said some things in the past to offend Jamie which I apologized for but here is wat pissed me off last night. Me and Jamie for the past two weeks were started to be friendly toward one another and I thought we but the past behind us. So I found out that she was getting Maude episodes in the Mail and i was really lloking to get Maude episodes. So i emailed her a couple of times and sent her private messages asking did she received the Maude tapes yet. So i was noticing that she wasn't really eager to do a tape trade with me but i wasn't completely sure. What made it made it obvious that she didnt want to trade with me was I went to the Maude board and saw that she told two other people she has maude tapes. Which was after my question to her whether he eceived them or not. So all she to do was say i don't feel comfortable doing a trade ad that would have been the end. ut she ignores my mesages instead of being Upfront with me. And the thing she said last night that mADE NO SENSE AT ALL, Was i going to be insulting her again once i got my Mwude tapes. Why the hell would i be mean to someone who took the time to copy episodes for me and mail me the tape?

Grapejelly situation, I did nothing wrong at all. I was a concerned customer and was just worried where my tape was. I found out the tape was stolen after she gave me the confirmation number. So I was just so mad, NOT AT HER, MAd at the person who took the tape. So i just wanted to SEE would she mail me another tape with no charge. I found out that i would have to pay again which was fine. But i was told by her that she was backed up with doing trades and to contact in 2 weeks. When I contacted her in 2 weeks, i had no gotten a response in 3 days so i gave up. But when i brung her situation to the board, I just asked a question not trying to start anything. I never mentioned her name in the post so i don't know what he big deal was.

So I found out that she was getting Maude episodes in the Mail and i was really lloking to get Maude episodes. Because of all of the garbage going on these boards, I had one person back out of a large trade, but that didn't really bother me because if that's the reason, I'm probably better off, so I just swallowed it.

For those of us who read quite a number of the posts on the trading board or elsewhere, it can be an eyeopener, even if we haven't traded with those discussed here. Both Nanny Fine and Grape Jelly have stood up for both dave w. and me though they had absolutely nothing to gain from it so I have nothing but good to say about them, that's for sure.

And as a former typing teacher and presently a homeschooling mother, I have to beg to differ with you on Nanny being uneducated. She is very articulate and has good spelling/grammatical skills which speaks volumes.

That's why I STILL have strangers emailing me all over again asking "What's his problem? He's so messed up." You have your sequence of events screwed up and that's why you seem innocent in your own mind but I know the truth of our situation. I've been at this hobby for over 5 years.
