kimberly was a student at eastland who brought mrs.garret to her school to be a house mother(spinoff for charlotte rae) she was also the one who introduced everyone to mrs.garret. The other girls made guest appearances as friends of kimberly on different strokes before and after fol was on the air. I also remeber her having a rivalry with blair. I guess she commuted everyday to school from manhattan to peekskill, because apparantly she was still living in the drummond penthouse the same time she was at eastland!

What I don't get is why didn't Dana Plato guest star on FOL more that just Rough Housing? :confused:

I know Kimberly attended Eastland for awhile, but then she transferred to public school because I remember an episode where she was in school with Willis. That has always confused me too because even if Kimberly attended Eastland for awhile, she should've been in more episodes than one. Okay, I think I've just confused myself.

They never explained why Kimberly never appeared at Eastland.
On the 100th episode of Diff'rent Strokes she said she felt transfering to public school was something she had to do.
