These beautiful blondes were stars of great sitcoms we all enjoyed. They're both beautiful actresses. Which one you preferred and why??

Meredith Baxter Birney!

She is a great actress at comedy and drama (especially drama though), and she's really pretty, and she just rocks! :)

Elizabeth Montgomery. I've always had a mini crush on her. Oh yeah, and because she was a good actress. I'm sure there's more reasons, but I can't think of any right now.

That's about a toss up for me. I've always liked Elizabeth Montgomery; more and more as time went on. Merideth, I took an irrational disliking to when she made those, "Because I'm worth it" commercials. Then I saw her in a movie where her character was a woman who had some mental problems. After that I realized how dopey I was being to hold a silly commercial against her. Her acting in that movie really touched and impressed me so I took an interest in her from there on out. Also, she has that endearing little overbite. :lol:

I always preferred Liz. Especially in those later years of Bewitched when her hair was longer.

Elizabeth Montgomery gets my vote. I think she was a beautiful woman with immense acting ability. She had that certain special something that not many possess. She was special.

I think Meredith Baxter Birney is pretty but not beautiful, certainly not in the league of Elizabeth Montgomery. Meredith is an enormously talented actress. I enjoy her Lifetime Movies, especially, A Woman Scorned--The Betty Broderick Story.
That movie sucks me in every time. It's the true story of the woman who emotionally derailed when her husband left her for a younger woman. She shot and killed them both as they were sleeping. Great performance.

Elizabeth, she was so beautiful and a great actress.

Liz. She's prettier, she has no wrinkled forehead in her show....she doesn't always look stoned....the answers go on and on.

Elizabeth is the better actress, in my opinion.

MBB!!! I thought she was a great actress and funny, She may not have been as beautiful as EM but she was still very pretty. So Meridith has got my vote!

Elizabeth. I don't think Meredith is that good of an actress.

They are both wonderful but I choose Elizabeth. "The Legend of Lizzie Borden"..................Need I say more?:D

Elizabeth Montgomery

Elizabeth Montgomery is my favorite.

I think I liked Elizabeth Montgomery because of her acting and her beauty on Bewithced, compared to Meredith Baxter Birney, but I thought she reminded me of an ideal wife on Family Ties.

Granted MBB was not as beautiful as EM but she was still very attractive!

In terms of acting ability I take Elizabeth Montgomery over Meredith Baxter Birney. MBB is a great actress but Elizabeth can do comedy and drama. Meredith downfall is that she is not a sitcom actress and Family Ties showed her inability to do comedy. She was outstanding on Family. Elizabeth did comedy effortlessly even though she started off as a dramatic actress. She is naturally funny without compromising herself.

In beauty Elizabeth grew prettier as the seasons of Bewitched went. In the final season she was stunning with the longer hair and the more modern fashions she displayed. Meredith was stunning on Family and the first season of Family Ties when her hair was long. I did not like the haircuts she displayed on FT. When she grew her hair back in the fourth season she was stunning. The haircut in the last season was bad. Elizabeth aged more gracefully whereas Meredith is showing her age. Both actresses are quite talented in their own way and natually acttractive. Both actresses had their pregnancies written into their respective shows. They did not lose their beauty during that time and quickly got their figure back.

Elizabeth is a far better singer than Meredith. If you heard Elizabeth sing the song on Bewitched on episode 227. How Not to Lose Your Head to King Henry VIII, "How Could You Use A Poor Maiden So?" She sung that beautifully. Meredith was not a good singer. On a couple of episodes on FT there were some shows where Elyse Keaton did her folk singing and her singing was not impressive compared to Samantha's.

Meredith Baxter Birney or Meredith McCrae have Elizabeth Montgomery beat in my book.

I like both, but out of the two I'd say I prefer Elizabeth Montgomery.
