I received this e-mail from Doug Denoff this morning in response to a message I sent him asking for an update. I find this encouraging! Lolac


as we posted on the site, image is manufacturing the discs we're going to sell on this site. so just tell everyone to buy through us and everyone wins. we'll still settle up with WMA and Brownstein, but we don't want to keep the release on hold. that would be selfish.

the full ottoman collection will be out when image finishes manufacturing all 5 seasons. and if they poop out we'll pick up the pieces.

so, if you want to buy season one in September, and then the rest as Image finishes them, you can still do that and get the ottoman - you won't lose out. you'll just get the discs as soon as they're manufactured and the ottoman will be there in your living room ready to hold them.

I'm encouraging everyone here to please go ahead and buy from Doug's site (assuming everything runs as smoothly as Doug seems to think it will). With all things being equal (release time, price, etc.) I see no reason not to buy from Doug as opposed to Amazon or some other site.

After all, if it hadn't been for Doug's vision and work in all this, I really doubt Brownstein would have done anything like this with Image. So Doug should get our business to show appreciation AND hopefully insure that we get the rest of the episodes.

hi all - sorry to be absent for a few weeks - i was in nyc and caught a swell sinus cold.

glad to see you're all excited about the first season. I just want to make clear what I told Lolac in my email, which is this:

I know many of you want all 5 seasons, with or without the ottoman. my commitment is that if you buy the seasons from our website one at a time (if that's how Image will manufacture them), you won't be forced to buy another copy of the same season as part of the complete collection.

in other words, you'll be able to buy the whole collection thru us. and if you want the ottoman, you'll be able to fill it up season by season as the manufacturing of the discs progresses.

just didn't want anyone to think that they'd have to wait until all 5 seasons were available and buy the entire collection just to get season one.

so I hope you see that we're offering the best of both worlds in return for your ongoing support and loyalty.
