Well if you have adobe photoshop, you can use the clone stamp. You just press it on the colors you want to cover the text up....like this one I did for Dorothy (*JoyceDeWittIsMyAngel*) a few pages back...

I tried 150 x 150, retaining the original settings and it was 80kb (avatars can only be 25kb). So, I am going to have to tweak with some settings and get back to you on this. It'll PROBABLY have to be about 125 x 125 or so. Would you be OK with that?

Edit: I couldn't do anything without REALLY tweaking some of the settings. Sorry. :crying:

Oh, I can't help you then, sorry. :(. If you had photoshop, there's a way to get a border (it's called stroke) around any text or pictures.

Oh, I forgot to say this before. Neither is free. Adobe Photoshop costs 500-600 dollars and Paint Shop Pro is like 100 I think. But there are other ways to get them rather than spending all that money. ;)

But if you want to try it out, there are free trials of both programs on download.com.

Well, I prefer Photoshop because I find PSP more complicated, but PSP does have some really cool effects that I use on my blends.

Well....to be perfectly honest, since you're first starting out, I suggest you click page 1 of that post your graphics topic and click on that blend tutorial. :) It's how I first learned to make blends, lol. From there, I slowly figured out some new things by myself.

Well...so that there's no copying, I made some avatars. It was hard to make them out of that blend because the only one you could really make one out of was that middle pic. -.-
