View Full Version : Final episode music sting-CBS vs. Reruns dirwuf 06-01-2003, 02:30 AM When the last ep first aired on CBS, it used the original "Bob Newhart Show" music sting at the end of the final scene. The reruns since it left the network (syndication, NICK, etc) have been using the normal "Newhart" music sting instead... Anyone know why this change was made? Music rights fees? BG My guess is that it's music rights fees. Too bad. I noticed this change last night, and it really takes away from the scene's effectiveness. |
