Here comes the Japanese influence front and center.
Banzai, the previously announced half-hour spoof of Japanese game shows is gaining a summer Sunday slot on Fox.
The interactive game premieres July 13 at 8:30 p.m. (EDT/PDT). Banzai encourages home audience members to wager on the outcomes of stunts, gags and practical jokes. Some wags have already termed the show "Truth or Consequences on speed."
A host has not been announced. Tim Breadin and Gary Monaghan are creators and executive producers for Radar Productions.
