& I am sure it was a fan board & not a legit source but I thought i'd ask....

There was once mention (not too long ago) that Fran wanted to do another show, a new series that picked up where "The Nanny " left off. Does anyone know of any facts behind this or if it was just a comment she said she would "like to do" as opposed to "is attepting to do".

There just isn't anything on that is as fresh & funny as "The Nanny" in todays primetime comedy spots. Sure there are some good & funny shows but nothing of the same calliber (IMO)

i agree im sitting here watching the finale of the nanny and your 100 % right anbd i also think there is nothing they can do with a spin off

I've searched all over trying to find where it was I read that she wanted to do another Nanny series but can't seem to find it. It would be awesome if she did. Evening tv/ primetime, is seriously lacking in really good entertaining funny comedies.

I wonder what Fran Drescher has been up to lately. I wonder if she has any projects she has been working on.
Anyone have any ideas???
