This appears to be a better deal than the T/L set. For one thing there is more on each disc. T/L sold five discs, but only gave you 20 episodes, plus bonuses. This one gives you 31 episodes in the same number of discs, plus bonuses. Plus, it looks as though they have the same bonuses as T/L, and few more. Also, the price is very reasonable for all that material, if everything holds true.
Guys, I say lets snap these up while we can. Also, mention it to email buddies, friends, and relatives. Seriously, if enough support is shown, it guarantees a "Season 2" release. In a couple of years, we may have realized our dream of owning all 158 episodes of TDVDS!

I couldn't agree more with you. I knew the T/L set was garbage (price wise, I mean) so I didn't even consider buying it. But this is definitely the right price. And *if* Doug doesn't show up before this set is released and give us some news about being able to sell this set on his site, I'll get this one for sure from Amazon or whoever has the best deal (right now pre-orders are very reasonable at around $45). I too think that, one way or another, we have to support this set to guarantee what Image says they will do:

Season 1 this September
Seasons 2 - 5 once a quarter, finished next year!!!
