I haven't seen any of these episodes yet, but I hear Pippa was terrible and she practically ruined the show. Who was she and how bad was she?

you will see soon enough. I bet they would've gone onto a final season 10 had they not added her in season 9 (they were actually still considering one more season halfway through season 9, but ratings dipped so badly they decided to end it there).

She was this ANNOYING Australian exchange student to Eastland who the girls befriend in the last season.

The girl who played her has actually become a popular country singer. Sherrie Austin, haven't heard her though because I don't listen to country.

The biggest insult about Pippa is that in the final episode, SHE was in the goodbye pose, yet Natalie was nowhere to be seen.

Sherrie Austin can sing pretty well.

She's also quite the fox. That's why she should be in the Reunion movie.

But I wouldn't blame Pippa for the death of Facts. NBC probably would've killed it, Pippa or no. I mean, the show was 9 years old, going down in the ratings, and NBC didn't need it any longer... they had the Cosby sitcoms and ALF.

I truly think NBC would've given Facts another season without Pippa. The final season was still doing decent (top 30) ratings and then when Pippa came in like 3 months into it, was when the show began plummetting down to the 40's and 50's (tho it ended up #37 in the ratings anyways). The show was 9 years old, but it was still turning a profit for NBC and I think they could've saved it for one more season had 1. Pippa not joined and 2. Nancy McKeon didn't decide to leave.

the REAL reason FOL went off was because Nancy wanted out.
