Molly Ringwald. I wish she had been one of the girls who got in trouble so she could have been a main character... she was just so darned cute! My favorite character was definitely Blair(Lisa Welchel)!
My fave guest star was Pippa( Sherrie Krenn) because now she, as Sherrie Austin, is one of my fave singers! You should check her out.

It's hard to pick a fave, I liked them all. When it comes to guest stars, well I KNEW George Clooney was gonna be a star!
But, I have to say, my favorite guy was Snake. I love Robert Romanus, love that voice! I'd fight Natalie for him! LOL

my fave cast member NANCY MCKEON as Jo and a tie between Mindy Cohen as Natalie and Kim Fields as Tootie.

Nancy mckean as jo! I love her! I HATE Natalie! She is just annoying! I HATE Blair even worse!

100% Mindy Cohn she is the best. I still think that the other girls are ok. But Mindy is the best.

I'd have to say my favorite is good ol' Mrs. Garrett. She was the level headed character (most of the time) and it was HYSTERICAL when she yelled or "swore" The Facts of Life was her show - originally. And what about that hair?? LOL

My favorite guest is Geri Jewell, she's so funny!!

My favorite cast member is Nancy McKeon (JO). Jo is the best hands down! She got in everyone's face and told the truth. She always put Blair in her place.
My favorite guest star was Gary Coleman (Arnold)I loved when he would hit on Tootie. Cousin Geri was also a great guest star.

I agree with you both. Jo ( Nancy McKeon) is a goddess! She was touhg, cool, cute and yet was the sweetest of all the characters underneath. Like when she worries about Bair not making it back in time in the episode , where Jo and Blair go back to see there freinds.

I liked Mrs. G (played 1979-1986) and Sue Ann (Played 1979-1980, 1981).

I liked Nancy played by Felice Schacter from 1979-1982,1986. She had so much potential and ironically her character blossomed after she was dumped as a regular and became a recurring guest star. The producers should of had a wake up call and been reminded why they cast her in the first place.

but anyway, my fav Character is JO. She is tough and fearless on the outside, but when you get to know her, you find out that she is anything but that. She is a kind and generous person who won't take crap from anyone!

1986??? I didn't know Felice played Nancy in 1986. I know she played her on the first two seasons, but 1986? Hmm.....

Felice played Nancy from 1979-1980 ,then got the shaft.. then producers brought her back occasionally along with sueann and cindy in the late 1980-1981 season. They also made a few appearances in the 1981-1982 season before they disappeared. All three were brought back in late 86 for the little chill episode.

Each girl brought out something that helped the show become a success. Its hard to say who was my favorite. I would say if i had to pick it would be the jo/blair combo. Their love/hate thing was incredible. Jo's sarcastic nature, Blair's instigating tactics made the show hysterical to watch.

My favorite is Jo and Natalie and George Clooney.

Not that I'm knocking Nancy McKeon in any way... I said she was second.

I understand. Some people like other cast memebers more than others. Just because you don't like jo the best doesn't mean I'm gonna hunt you down and slug you...I could, but I'm tryin very hard not to. Just kidding. I think Blair really brought out the best in Jo (The comebacks!) and vise versa.

My Fav character is Jo, as you might've guessed by the Username. HEHE But Blair is a close second....she and Jo have the best comic chemistry going on, and I love the fact that they are best friends but neither one really admits it. How Blair alwasys helps Jo, even when Jo doesn't want her to. She's cool.

Natalie would be third....I love it when she goes into writing mode and won't let anyone bother her.

Fave guest star: Ian Wolfe as Mr.Bigley (did you ever see Ian Wolfe in 'Witness for the Prosecution' with Marlene Dietrich? He was one of a kind.

Mines was always Jo...She's the one I relate to most...We're both from the bronx, we're both italian, we're both very outspoken and sometimes rude, and we both have that adorable New york accent that people love us for...Lol...Then after that is Natalie...She makes me laugh the most whenever I watch the show...Then it's Blair because of her famous quote "I've just had another one of my Brilliant Ideas" and then Tootie...And My favorite guest start was the guy who played Eddie, Jo's old boyfriend...:)

Kim Fields & Nancy McKeon tied are my favorite cast members of the main cast. Although ALL of them had talent, I just feel like they had the most talent. I liked Living Single and The Division and even some of her Lifetime movies. (I relate to them more than everyone else.)

I liked Eve Plumb's episode and i liked the Kelly character played by Pamela Segall. They should have kept her, her and Nancy Mckeon had good chemistry.

Honorable mention to Charlotte Rae! What a strong woman!
