I've seen most of the entire series, but not since it was in original syndication. I don't remember Season 8 being this good, a *big* improvement over 7 which featured some of the worst writing this side of Season 1. I like Beverly Ann, she's not necessery but she has the best lines (ie "Fast Food"... "I'm easy!"), and I enjoy how the girls "put up with her". The macho lesbian subtext is great too..

"Fast Food" inparticular could've been done in Season 4 or 5, it really felt like a classic ep to me, corny as it sounds I'm realy starting to relate with Natalie in her later years. Sure I Miss Mrs. Garrett, but really she was already gone in 85-86 (where she had like 7 lines the whole season), and most of 84-85.

I hope the second half of 86-87 remains as good, though I do remember that awful ep where Blair takes the L-SAT (the worst episode ever actually, nothing happens!).

what macho lesbian subtext must have slipped me please post! i like the L-SAT episode. nothing much really happened but it really showed how much blair and Jo depend on eachother and how much they really are friends!
