View Full Version : TV LAND and N@N must have left out some footage of the Jeffersons Pilot because......
TVFactFan 05-27-2003, 09:41 PM I received a 1975 TV guide in the mail today and I read the episode description for the Episode-The Jeffersons Move Up. The description said that
"Lionel and Louise have misgivinings about their move to a new apartment on Manhattan's Eastside."
Now if that is true, there is some footage missing because I have the N@N and TV LAND version of this episode and Lionel is not seen until the Jeffersons are in Manhattan. Which means, i'm now on the hunt for the CBS airing of this episode.
bgppapmp 05-28-2003, 11:17 AM The last N@N had "The Jeffersons Move On Up" on there episode list for All in the Family, they just skipped it and went to the next episode. I was curious about it because I've never seen it and I've always loved The Jeffersons.

TV LAND version of that episode was better than N@N's, but after reading the 1975 guide, I want the CBS version.

Well N@N can't skip too much longer because TV LAND has All in the Family in 2004-Finally
Brent88 12-06-2003, 08:53 PM I am hoping we'll see AITF at a good timeslot twice a day... and that the episodes will go in order from the beginning.

9pm and 9:30pm will be nice slot
Brent88 12-06-2003, 08:57 PM That'd be sweet! Judging from what they are doing with Family Ties, I am hoping for at least one evening slot and maybe an afternoon slot and then have it on twice on weekends during "Twice as Nice"

All in the Family needs to replace Sanford and Son or Happy Days on TV LAND
Brent88 12-06-2003, 09:18 PM I am anxious to see what it will replace in January, hopefully Andy Griffith, Sanford and Son, or Happy Days will be gone.

Happy Days has been recycled about 40 times-LOL I'm watching season one and before I know it i'm watching Joanie and Chachi's wedding again.
Brent88 12-06-2003, 09:35 PM LOL!!! Actually, it is quite pathetic.
I think this topic has gotten off-topic.

Yeah true. Back to Topic. I really need to know how long the Jeffersons was in Queens for they left for ManhattAN because I would like to know why Lionel had misgivings about going to the EAST SIDE in Manhattan. I have to search for the UNCUT episode of that pilot.
Brent88 12-06-2003, 09:45 PM Hmmmmm.... I guess when it comes out on DVD, you'll see it.

I have a while because that episode is in season 5 and only two seasons are out on DVD. I have to try and get it on VHS.
