BET is showing Alex Haley's mini-series "Queen" this week. This is such a moving and poignant story. I remember watching this when it first aired many years ago, but I forgot how good it was.

Tim plays the master at a southern plantation. He and one of his slaves, played by Jasmine Guy, are lovers, and they have a daughter together, played by Halle Berry. He has a pretty big role, at least he did yesterday. I'd love to get this mini-series on dvd or something if its available. Definately worth it. Tim looks VERY good (as usual). His hair is blond for the part, and he does a southern accent. I'm pretty sure that's why "Joe" had blond hair for awhile.;)

One interesting thing to note is that Tim Daly's father had a role in Alex Haley's "Roots" mini-series.
