What's the process for attending a taping of W&G?

I know back in the day when My Friend and I were still into FRIENDS we tried calling the nbc studios and we also tried going to thier site we also had a link to a site that gives away tickets basically you have to do one of those things and ask in advance for the tickets then you just go from there
I dont really know though because we NEVER actaully got the tickets

I went to a taping back in March (we saw "23" being taped). I got my tickets through a charity who was having an auction on eBay. Yes, expensive, but very very worth every penny...got to see Debra, Eric, Sean, Megan, Harry :D , Shelley, & Minnie Driver...got to act like a fool = cheer & jump up & down when they were all introduced...I would pay again in a heartbeat. The girl we talked to to set up our reservations said it is VERY hard to get tickets free (i.e. online). The cast/crew gets 2 tickets per taping themselves (the seating is for less than 300), so that could leave little room for "outsiders."
