I don't have the Ropers, but this is just an idea. If you can only find folks who'll trade for them, versus selling them outright, maybe you could acquire something that appeals to these evasive owners, sort of going from New York to California by way of Florida.

Well my vcr's are not hooked up for copying tapes so i'm unable to a tape trade.

So that means someone should take advantage of me because i really want episodes of a certain show?

You are not obligated to buy anything. I wanted Maude bad enough that I shelled out money from my vacation fund to buy it. I didn't wnat to let the opportunity to pass by me.

I said to bad you dont trade,me and you have talked before,and I dont sell any episodes. I know you dont trade,thats why I wrote to bad you dont,cause Iv had your episode with Larry in it for a long time,I have 16 episodes of ropers.I get hit 3 times a week people wanting to buy from me,I only trade.


As for lucy and desi fan.......aka........Kevin he still owes me 5 episodes from the junk he sent me.

No one should trade with him,he doesnt even tell you what episode is what on tapes

Also what is the difference between you making tapes for other tapes and making tapes for money? I see no difference at all because either way you are still copying tapes and going to the post office to mail them out.

Hey man,it's cool,I was just trying to give you a laugh,sorry you took it the wrong way.

I figured you would remember tal;king to me and me telling you I dont sell just trade.

I sold on ebay a few times,then I got my auctions cancelled,and emailed by warner brothers and sony telling me it was illegal to sell those tv shows etc..This was before I started coming to these boards.Since then I have only traded.

I dont have to go to the post office,my wife ships for me from her work,and it's free through ups,or her work picks up the tab:D

as i have told you many times i WILL be Glad to do your 5 episodes over again send the five episodes back to me i will view them if they are bad quality i will be gald to make you new episodes make sure they are good quality and mail them out to you.

My point is who would know if you sold me 6 episodes of the Ropers and we can be done with it. How would warner brothers and sony know what me and you are doing? U r the only person with that episode I need so badly and i can just send you a MO for that and we an be done and move on with our life.
