I've never ben there but I know people who have. They say it's very dirty there, trash lying around in the street and stuff. I still would like to visit someday though.

Yep! I've been to Strasbourg, which is only about half-an-hour from where I live :p I actually wasn't that impressed. It's a beautiful country, and very clean, but the people there were so snooty. Granted I was there with a bunch of loud American guys, but really. I haven't studied French in years, but I was trying. They didn't speak English so we spoke to them in German and they just got meaner. If you can speak French, you're in the club, if not - good luck.

That's just from one city though. My friends who have gone to Paris say it's much better over there (and they're more used to tourists). I'm gonna be going over to Bordeaux soon, to visit my friend (since she's French, I'm not worried) :lol: It is a beautiful country though - definately worth the trip. :wave:

I've never been to France. I was supposed to go this summer but the school cancelled it because of the whole Iraq situation. I might go next summer though, if they reschedule it. My friend went to Paris over Spring Break and said it was great.
