Mr. Stefani 05-26-2003, 08:51 PM I don't like any of her stuff. she doesn't even have a good voice. the only reason shes gotten this far is because shes a publicity hoe. bandito 05-26-2003, 09:05 PM Originally posted by Jenny I like her old songs. Ditto. BrandonS 05-26-2003, 09:43 PM I love her old songs. I think she's a talented composer. My ex-girlfriend loathed her; insisted she didn't write her own songs; rolled her eyes at the mention of her name. I think that some women react that way to her, although certainly most do not. I read a true newspaper account one winter in the "NY Times." A man observed this at a post office in the city. Ahead of him in line, a woman asked to buy stamps. The man behind the counter wanted her to choose between two different Christmas themes on the stamps, so he asked the woman, "Christmas tree or Madonna?" The woman got a horrified, sick expression on her face and asked, "What??? She's on a stamp now???" The postal worker stared at her blankly for a moment, and then, realizing the source of her confusion, said, "No, the real one." Nez Rocks!! 05-28-2003, 10:14 PM I just LOVE Madonna. I love her songs from Evita the movie. I just bought her new movie Swept Away on DVD. I haven't seen it yet. I hope that it will be good.
