Memorial Day is a day to remember all those who have died in defense of our country and freedom. This is a day to be grateful for people who put country above self and made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedoms and the freedom of those throughout the world. Remember, "Freedom is not free."

Oh right. We use 11th November. It was originally just used for the commemoration of the end of WW!, but now its everything else as well. We have a huge parade and display in London, of representatives from the Armed Forces and civilian organisations, but there's less of the veterans every year :( There used to be a guy who was the last surviving soldier from the Boer War (1899-1901), but he's gone now, obviously. And there's so few left from WW1. Less and less still alive from WW2 as well. I think it's a little sad, really.
