I was reading about the new 2003-04 fall lineups this week and they don't sound too promising, offering mainly junk that will be quickly cancelled and forgotten after a few weeks, with only a few token exceptions. I would expect one of those exceptions to be "Couplings", which NBC has added to their Must See TV Thursday lineup after "Friends" and they are secretly hoping that it will replace "Friends" one it leaves the schedule for good after next season. It's very interesting to see how similar the two shows are, with NBC even going so far as to promote "Couplings" as " 'Friends' with sex.", obviously hoping that lightning will strike twice, which remains to be seen over time.

Another show which I'll be curious to see is "Hope and Faith" starring Faith Ford and Kelly Ripa. I loved Faith Ford on "Murphy Brown". Corky Sherwood was easily my favorite character on the show, not to mention the best looking! Kelly Ripa is no slouch in the looks department either! Of course, if the show fails, she can always go back to her day job! Given a choice, I'd take working with Faith Ford over Regis Philbin any day.

But that's just my preference. What new shows will you be watching?

I really don't know any of the new shows yet, so I'll hold my judgement for now.

Um, last time I checked "Friends" was overflowing with sexual content...

Anyway, none of the new shows look that promising to me. The new show I'm most looking forward to is actually a Saturday Morning show, the new Sonic the Hedgehog anime on the Fox Box!

Other than that, I'll keep watching "Frasier", "Enterprise", "Law & Order", "Law & Order: SVU" and "AFV"

Oh, yeah, I will sample the new TGIF block.

Otherwise, lots of cartoons and repeats for me! :)

I'll probably just watch Hope & Faith. I'll sample Whoopi because I like Whoopi Goldberg, but I don't see it lasting.

I don't really have time to add a ton of new shows to my already big list of watching/taping, and none look all that great anyway.

Let me see, I want to watch Tru Calling with Eliza Dushku. I want to watch Nicholas Brendon's new show. I'm not sure if his show got picked up or not. Geez, I'm having a brain fart and can't even remember the name of the show he'll be in. Okay, nevermind about Nicholas Brendon's show. It didn't get picked up.

I'm going to try to sample each one. This season looks quite interesting but the ones I'm most looking forward to are "Coupling","It's All Relative","The Ortegas" and "Rock Me Baby".

"Happy Family" I've been a John Laroquette fan since Night Court. Him teamed up to Christine Baranski (who was good in "Bowfinger") should be a hoot. The jury's out on the other new shows.
