According to my TiVo guide, Growing Pains will air from 1-2pm on ABC Family. It's been off the lineup since November 2002 (when Wonder Years was brought back).

Pav, can you confirm this? I hope so. It also says Step By Step will air from 2-3pm.

It almost seems too good to be true, lol.

i was pissed when those bastards at abc family pulled it for like 3 extra hours of 7th heaven but thank god it's back it's the best show

All next week will be the first 10 episodes in order,cant see what ones they have liosted for the week after that,used to not be able to find out when I checked for woner years sometimes untill monday.


Of course this doesnt mean they will air them that way.If they do like the guides say,the first true test will be when they get to episode #12 the first holiday ep,but I bet you they skip it.

thats all I know,and dont hold me to anything,cause I dont trust either of those guides,but lets hope for the best if your gonna be taping it like me.:D

They did skip #12. So far though, all have been in order, no skippings. ABC Family isn't bad about skipping episodes, at least from what I can remember, except holiday (usually Christmas) episodes.

More good news, ABC Family will air it 7 days a week starting August 2. Weekends 1-2pm is also now airing. So it will air 1-2pm seven days a week!

The ABC Family September schedule is in, and it's MORE good news for Growing Pains. It will STILL air every afternoon at 1 and 1:30 p.m. E/P, but now it will ALSO air weeknights at 12 and 12:30 a.m. E/P starting September 1 replacing Caroline Rhea. There are no other changes to ABC Family in September.

ABC Family's October schedule is in! Growing Pains is still on, but the weekend airings are gone. It will still air weekdays at 1 and 1:30PM E/P and weenights at 12 and 12:30A E/P.

Weekends are replaced by:
Saturdays, effective October 11:
1:00PM Step by Step (replaces Growing Pains)
1:30PM Step by Step (replaces Growing Pains)

Sundays, effective October 19:
1:00PM Family Matters (replaces Growing Pains)
1:30PM Family Matters (replaces Growing Pains)


Full October schedule is at the General Sitcoms board.

ABC Family is removing the 1 and 1:30pm airings starting Dec. 1, but will add a 9am airing. It will still air weeknights at 12 and 12:30am as well.

Also a 12:30pm airing is added. So starting Dec 1:
Mon-Thu 9am, Mon-Fri 12:30pm, and Mon-Thurs 12 and 12:30am!

the bad news is that it stopped airing on the weekends at my place, but it's still airing 5 days a week! i love that show, that's my all- time fav show in the world and kirk cameron is fav actor in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totally dont want Americas funniest videos to replace the 12:00 or 12:30am schedules of growing pains, if it does it's going to show about 1 ep a day, instead of 4 eps a day!! i usually go to kirk cameron current tv month schedule to find out about whether growing pains, is changing to another channel, or just changing schedules, anyways dont forget to watch the second reunion movie of growing pains, airing fall sweeps!! Grrr! Everytime I get used to see GP at a good time, they go and change it!! I have been watching it every night for the past few weeks!! I hate America's Funniest Home Videos!

The ABC Family website still has Growing Pains listed for the week of the 15th from 12-1am ET, of course, it could be that they haven't updated it lately(but they should tomorrow)

i always go to abcfamily.com to find out what time growing pains starts, so i know when its starts. but sometimes they do get it mix up, so i just go to kirk cameron current tv month schedule to find out.

Yeah, this blows. GP was finally on at a good time 12 and 1230am and I watched it religiously every night (including tonight, or at least I thought until I turned it there to see AFV) as an alternative to the Cosby channel, and now they put on AFV? WTF? AFV is totally not funny and will bring their ratings down even lower than they already are. Nice job ABCFamily, you just lost 1 more viewer.

I'm with you, kalojado. I don't see putting AFV on at midnight as a strategic ratings getter for ABC Family. I don't think a ton of people are watching ABC Family anyway much less at midnight. Only people who are great fans of GP will stay up that late to watch (as I did). Who is going to stay up just for that stupid AFV? They add 4 episodes of Full House on every day despite the fact that N@N shows Full House every night.

I can't find where GP comes on at all on ABC Fam. I looked in the TV Guide and cannot find them anywhere!! I see 7th Heav. at 11am, FH at 12, FM at 1, Step at 2...etc. No GP!

i agree, i think AFV is not funny at all, and is one of the most worst shows in the world! why did they have to replace the 12:00-12:30am shows growing pains with AFV? i hate AFV and never ever watch it. i really loved growing pains and still do!

Growing Pains airs at 9am(Monday-Thursday) and 1230pm ET Every weekday. The 1230 showings will be pre-empted next week for special programming(along with the whole lineup from 11am to 3pm)

It's stupid they're taking growing pains off! Why wont they just take Full House off, it shows like 6 times on abcfamily and 2 times on nick! Boy meets world should stay on the disney channel. i hate the idea that they're taking growing pains off abc!! Now, growing pains might not even show on tv anymore!
