Somebody told me Charlotte Rae (Ms. Garrett) was dead. I haven't heard anything about it. Is this true? If so, when did she die and what from? Any body know the circumstances or details? Or is it all untrue and she is alive and well? Curious. Thanks.

She is defintley alive. We recently saw here in both E! True Hollywood Stories of Diff'rent Strokes and Facts of Life

We also saw Charlotte on TV Guide's Truth Behind the Sitcom Scandals about Different Strokes, Gilligan's Island and Three's Company on FOX 29!
