Brian 05-25-2003, 01:12 AM Originally posted by Jem High Anxiety Did you know that Barry Levinson (director of Rain Man, Disclosure, The Natural) is in it? He plays the guy who attacks the doctor with a newspaper in the shower in a spoof of the shower scene in Psycho. That scene was so hilarious. I also like the "Pee Pee Envy" meeting among the doctors. BrandonS 05-25-2003, 01:57 AM "Here's your paper!!! Here's your paper!!! Happy??? Happy now???" "High Anxiety" is the first videotape I ever owned, back in my Betamax days. I'm gonna go check some of these out! :D *ShortCake* 05-26-2003, 03:15 PM Gone With The Wind, Bringing up Baby, The Long Long Trailer, His Girl Friday, The Philadelphia Story, The Awful Truth, Cleopatra, etc. I hope I helped!! Oh dont forget to see Dark Victory, and A StreetCar Named Desire too. BrandonS 05-26-2003, 04:43 PM Hi, Shortie! I thought that "The Awful Truth" was hilarious. Cary Grant, Irene Dunne, and Ralph Bellamy were really good in it, although, probably, they were really good in almost everything they ever appeared in. *ShortCake* 05-26-2003, 04:51 PM Hi Brandon!! :D I loved it too!! Especially the piano scene Cary did with Mr. Smith.. it was hilarious!! BrandonS 05-26-2003, 05:03 PM Yeah, when I answered your post, I almost added, "and that dog, Mr. Smith, was darned good too." I think it's hilarious that Cary got visitation rights for the dog. I think, also, that Irene Dunne is one of the greatest actresses that nobody remembers. *ShortCake* 05-26-2003, 05:06 PM I love Irene!! She was fantastic!!! BrandonS 05-26-2003, 05:12 PM Yes, when I was in high school I had a little crush on her for awhile. Shortie, consider filling out the "Get to Know Other Members" thread I started in "Chit Chat." *ShortCake* 05-26-2003, 06:56 PM Originally posted by BrandonS Yes, when I was in high school I had a little crush on her for awhile.
