TVJunkie101 05-24-2003, 01:09 PM sigh. Wish I got Goodlife. I'd definately tape F Troop.
Sean Snow 05-24-2003, 01:28 PM I wish I had Goodlife. I'd love to see Flamingo Road, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Surfside 6, and F Troop (again). They offer it here with digital cable but I don't have that. - sigh -
Pavan 05-24-2003, 01:31 PM I don't have it on basic or digital here. If I had it, I'd be all over it. They air their shows uncut. Since they added some more WB sitcoms, they should add Just the Ten of Us, She's the Sheriff, and bring back My Sister Sam. They still air Getting By on Sundays, I loved that show when it aired on ABC.

How does it feel to want a channel that someone else has??? hehe I still wish I had SoapNet lol
Anywayz..... I'm thrilled about "Flamingo Road" coming, and I can't wait for June 2 to come. Goodlife TV is such a great channel. Their Sunday nights are absolutely wonderful, but I think they never should have taken "Ozzie and Harriet" and "Danny Thomas" off the schedule. They had a lot of shows that I liked that they dropped, like "Down to Earth." I can't wait for Saturdays either. WBK was a big surprise, and so was "F Troop." "It's a Great Life" was on the channel at late nights for a while, and I'm glad its back at a semi-decent time. I never knew that Goodlife airs uncut episodes, and plus there aren't any voiceovers or split-screen credits either! I love this channel!

I'm glad they are keeping Highway To Heaven and that Sunday's are staying the same. I'm THRILLED about F-Troop and yay, Homefront is staying as well!
I LOVE this station!
:)
dawsongirl 05-26-2003, 09:50 PM Dish Network will never get this channel. GRRRR!!!!!!

I wish I wanted to give you TVLand. But I don't want to part with it right now lol. Would you take it if it became a 24-hour Leave it to Beaver channel? lol
dawsongirl, I'd give you......*thinks* I'll lease Encore Mystery to you so you can see Night Gallery (you want to see that one right?) and you can lease SoapNet to me. We can switch for about a year or so. Oh heck, you can have Encore Mystery forever and ever if you give me SoapNet. God knows I want that SoapNet now that they're adding "Another World."
SBTB Geek 05-27-2003, 06:42 PM I have digital, and I don't get Goodlife.

I have GoodLife and I try to watch it whenever I can. I was bummed because I only got a handful of episodes of My Sister Sam taped. It's great to see that they added Welcome Back, Kotter. Now I'll have something to watch on those boring Saturday nights :)
Laurel 05-29-2003, 09:13 AM Goodlife TV (GTV) is one of my favorite channels. It gave me the opportunity to see "77 Sunset Strip" for the first time and I now know why "Kookie" was so well loved. happyface
I grew up in the 1970's, and I have always enjoyed Edd Byrnes' guest starring work on TV series (one of my favorites is "Adam-12"), but I never had the chance to see "Kookie" until this year.
Goodlife TV markets to the older boomer generation, and although they have a corner on WarnerBrothers shows I wish they would show "Route 66." I am pleased, however, that they are going to show "F-Troop" I loved that show too!

Oh man...I wish they'd show Route 66 too!! That would be perfect! Well, not really, because I don't get the channel. But someone might get paid nicely for taping services. ;)

Hey Laurel where did you find that cereal box and when was it from?
I'm pleased with the changes. I wasn't all that fond with "It's a Great Life." It was kinda zZz...... I'm glad they're expanding into the afternoon time slots, I only wish they would go on and make the network a full time classic channel with weekend daytime reserved for their original programming. They should bring back "My Sister Sam" and "The Loretta Young Show."
storrs19 06-25-2003, 03:07 AM I guess I'm lucky in that I get TV-Land, Goodlife, Encore Mystery, and SoapNet (although I never watch that last one). Now, if I could just get Hallmark, I would be set.
I like GoodLife for the reasons state above: they don't chop their shows and they don't squeeze the credits. Anyway, I'm so glad someone is finally going to air the color version of the Honeymooners. I've only seen one episode of that run and I loved it.
Boy, if only we could get GSN to go back and show the good old game shows they showed when it first started up in 1996 or so.

Alright, another classics fan.
Sitcomwriter 06-25-2003, 06:02 PM I'm kind of glad I don't have it now since they took off Getting By (Which I loved when it originally aired),Jimmy Stewart (Which I've never seen) It's a Great Life (Which I've never seen).I'm not a big fan of most of those shows although I would like to see Color Honeymooners.Maybe I'll get that and GSN (Yep, Still don't have it) soon.Supposidly they change some of the channels on Monday.
