...what happened to this? In Feb., it just went off, and I haven't heard anything about it. I thought that they took it off until May, to try out a new show, but now the season's over, and still no word. Was it canncelled?:confused: :confused: :confused:

Drew will return this summer and will end next year. The only reason why it's returning is because ABC has a contract through next season. I couldn't imagine many people being upset when "Drew Carey" airs it's finale. There will be mostly cries of "This should've happened two years ago!"

Exactly. The show is done. It had it's great moments, it was a great show during the first 5 seasons, but like all great shows that go "whacky" (see Happy Days) they start losing it towards their ninth or tenth season.

also, take MASH, Roseanne, & Coach for example.

Since I wrote my previous comment, I've seen more new episodes. I have to say these episodes aren't that bad. They aren't as good as DC at it's height, but they're still funnier than a lot of recent sitcoms have been. The part in the karoke episode with Drew and the 11 year old girl doing a duet of "Do it to me one more time" was hilarious. Also, Kellie's reaction when she realized the minister's daughter was hitting on her was good. She said, "I don't know how to handle this. I never went to college. I never even went to summer camp."
