When I learned about Robert Stack's passing last week, I immediately created a memorial web page for him at my site. I recently updated that memorial site as well as the main page. I'm still grieving over Stack's death and next month, I'll have another reason to grieve: on June 11, it will be exactly 4 years since DeForest Kelley (Dr. McCoy on the original Star Trek) died in 1999. So the layout of the main page pays tribute to two of the actors who were in two of my favorite shows (Kelley for Star Trek, Stack for Unsolved Mysteries) and they are also two of the people I wanted to meet. Nice site, I always wanted to write him for an autographed photo but I never got around to it. You never know how much you would miss a person until they are gone.

Thank you very much. I too hoped to write to him someday, perhaps getting an autographed photo. The closest I got to having his autograph are from collecting the numerous autographed pictures online and in his autobiography. On the hardcover edition of his autobiography "Straight Shooting", if you lift the cover jacket, his signature is etched onto the front hardcover.
