I was just wondering why there just isn't much support for "STRONG MEDICINE" from the members of these boards?

Why do I find that odd?

Here's why:

1) BOTH shows are built around strong female LEAD characters. (and other female characters from many different walks of life)

2) BOTH shows are geared to seeing life from a woman's point of view. (very rare thing in the male character dominated television industry these days)

3) BOTH shows deal with a woman's struggle to balance her "home life" and her "career".

4) BOTH shows are on the same night, network,AND come on back-to-back.

So the question then becomes: "Why don't you guys watch this show?"

What is it specifically that you don't like about it?

I guess I'm in the minority here. I like both shows for some of the same reasons. I just found it weird that the "activity" on this board is so far ahead of strong medicine in the amount of interest in the characters it's not even funny. I would have never guessed in a million years that something like that could happen.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find that strange?

Strong Medicine deserves better than that.

Don't throw anything at me, but I've never watched "Strong Medicine". I started watching The Division after Iliveforjayandnancy sent me some episodes, and I realized what an awesome show it is. I mainly just watched them because Nancy is on it. Then, I really started liking the show.

I'm sure that Strong Medicine is just as good a show, but I'm sort of a Nancy watcher. I like most anything that she's in. She's why I watched the Division to start with. And, judging from some of the things that I've read on this board, I don't think I'm the only one. Maybe there isn't really anyone on Strong Medicine with quite the same following?. I don't know. That's just my guess.

I hope that the Stong Medicine board picks up for ya.:)

Exactly. At times I even like Strong Medicine more than The Division. But the SM board is dead...

1) It's on past my bedtime so i can't lol
2) I don't I watched it a couple times and ut appealed to me but I just care for it as much. Don't ask me why cause I don't know.

I dont watch it mainly becuz I dot like staying up that late on sunday nights cuz ill be tired on monday and be a grump. Im just not really interested in it thats all-i have nothing agenst it-its just a kind of show id watch.

Same here. Just because there's no new episodes right now, doesn't mean I've forgotten about SM. I don't love it as much as TD, I don't love any show as much as TD, but it's close up there. I love all of Lifetime's original shows.

Thanks for mentioning me a post or two ago. I'm just wondering if there was anything else you wanted that I have. I know you said that you like almost everything Nancy is in, as do I. So I suggest you go to the tape trading board and reading my Have/Want List, and let me know if there are any other Nancy McKeon things you would like me to send you. I have it updated. It should be right at the top of the board. Okie Dokie. And by the way, I LOVE Strong Medicine but my time limits me to what I can do online. I'm never on for a long time at once. I try to spread my time evenly between everything I have to do on here. Although in the past, I have made some posts on the SM board, but yes it's been a while.
