The original series has been and always shall be my friend, er favorite Trek. Some of my favorite episodes include: Trouble with Tribbles, City on the Edge of Forever, Space Seed, and Mirror, Mirror (In all honesty, I like them all).

My favorite Trek movie is "Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan" followed by "Voyage Home," and "Search for Spock."

I certainly agree with your TOS choices, although I might add...all of them....no, what comes to mind is "Bread and Circuses," "The Menagerie," "Friday's Child,"....yeah, all of them - at least in the first two seasons.

For the movies, I'd pick "First Contact."

I love Star Trek!

My favorite is the original series. But The Next Generation holds a close second place. I heard that Gene Roddenberry had more creative say when he was given the reins of TNG, so of course that's a plus!


I never watched DS9, though I've heard good things about it. Maybe someday I'll be able to judge it for myself.

Voyager was occasionally entertaining but it's nothing compared to the two first.

I am vastly disappointed in Enterprise!

IMO, Kirk and Spock (and Dr. McCoy and Scotty) could not be replaced.

That is an excellent choice of episodes. I'm still amazed by "City on the Edge of Forever."

Seeing the movie made me want to watch the Old series. And I plan to get through the first season on DVD.
It's funny, I never really paid attention to "Star Trek" before, but now I'm like "this show is amazing. Where have I been?" I love it, so Far!

What CBS did to it in 2006 was such a shame..... THEY TURNED IT INTO A PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!!

I'd have to disagree. It has it's good episodes and when it's good it's very good. And then it has ones that are just terrible. This is the show that gave us Spock's Brain and The Alternative Factor which are two of the absolute worst TV episodes of any show ever. Just my opinion of course. And there are a few other ones I think are kind of lousy too.
