I'm looking for info on one of the Miracle episodes.

A couple driving at night were singing songs trying to stay awake when the woman saw a naked woman in a posed looking position on the side of the road. The couple didn't stop because they weren't sure if it was a hoax but called the cops. After several searches, the police found the scene of a car accident with a dead woman and her son who was, by some miracle, still alive after 5 days.

Also very interested in a woman who had staged her own disappearence. She was from Maine and had been anwering personal ads. I think that I remember there was an update to the case having to do with her being identified as a Jane Doe suicide.

I do remember the sad story of the boy who laid next to his dead mother for days after their car accident, but I don't remember any of their names.

The missing lady from Maine was Gail Delano. It is one of the most interesting cases on UM in my opinion. She had battled with depression for years and divorced twice was extremely lonely she wrote in her diary. Police think she staged her disappearance and hitchhiked to the South. A medical examiner from Alabama identified her body as that of a Jane Doe that they had found dead in a hotel room from a drug overdose. I have this story on one of my tapes, let me know if you're interested.

they just had the episode on friday or monday about the woman who sees the naked body on the side of the road.

The little boy who was found in the car next to his mother was named Nick. I don't remember the last name. The mothers name may have been Michelle but I'm not sure on that.

I would be very interested in the tape of the Gail Delano episode. Could I send you a blank tape and a stamped, self addressed mailer? Do you have many episodes on tape? I am totally VCR challenged.

being from australia i generally don't take notice where the story is from, I am just fasicnated by the stories themselves.
