I have to admit that Waldo was very enteraining. His dance, his greeting, and his walk. He was much more entertaining than Steve Urkel. My favorite Waldo scene is when him and Laura are in the school yard after Laura was robbed. And Waldo had the headphones on and started dancing.

Waldo might be my favorite too.

I really liked him. I'm not quite sure why, but he was consistently funny and entertaining. And most importantly, his shtick didn't seem to wear thin, which is important for a charachter like that.

Yea Waldo is one of my favorites as well...

Like the time when him and Eddie are talking to the girl in the car, and she says her name is "India" Because she went to India and liked it so much she changed her name to it... Then Waldo Says "Good thing you didn't go to Turkey"

He's great :)

Waldo is definitely my favorite. My favorite Waldo Moment is when him and Eddie were driving to Disney World and Waldo said "We're coming up to a town called Kinyada" And Eddie said 'WALDO...THATS CANADA" I Thought that was hilarious

Urkel had his moments. But was it necessary for White to play Urkel and Myrtle, and Stefan? He took up too much air time. No wonder the mother left the series. And why was Waldo written out of the series? Was the actor who played Waldo fired or did the actor feel typecasted and quit?

I agree about the Myrtle remark. He/she was funny but a girl could have played that part! It creeped me out seeing the way she/he went after Eddie like that!! YUUK!!

Why would the actor (his name is Shawn Harrison, BTW) feel typecasted by playing Waldo? The other actors (and actresses) seemed to be very satisfied with their roles.

Yeah, next to Urkel, Waldo's definately my favorite. His stupidity really cracks me up. I wonder why he wasn't on the show during the last few seasons.

Yeah Urkel was more a KLUTZ, on the other hand Waldo was just stupid and not really a GEEK. It made me laugh when Urkel had the nerve to talk negative about Waldo

Yeah man, Waldo was a very underrated character. He was funny and he didn't try to be. Steve Urkel was used too much in this series. They shouldn't have focused too much on him. He wasn't anything special or funny. To be honest, the first season of Family Matters was actually good because it lived up to it title and it didn't focus on Steve Urkel so much.

I liked Steve but as the seasons went on he was still acting like a kid even after he left High School and then a lot of the other characters like Waldo left. The last few years weren't that great and the last season was awful.

I haven't seen the whole series yet, so that's one of the few Waldo moments I can vividly remember. Man that was hilarious.

Was Waldo written out of the show without an explanation too? (Think Judy, Richie, Rachel, and Mother Winslow)

Yeah he disappeared without explanation too. I'm going to make sure I record the ep off ABC Family when Waldo is in the Mexican Jail

No, he did not disappear without a trace. There was an episode where Maxine reads a letter to Laura while crying that Waldo sent her saying that he has been accepted into a cooking school in New York.

Some Waldo quotes I found off a website.

Episode Citizen's Court

Carl: "It was just a stupid bug!"
Steve: "State your name."
Waldo: "Illinois."
Steve: "No, Waldo. State your name, not name your state."
Waldo: "Ohhhhh. Waldo Faldo... from Illinois."

Episode The Gun

Steve: "The coast is clear, Laura. It's okay to go."
Waldo: "Actually, it's supposed to be partly sunny with clouds."

Episode Hell Toupee

Waldo: "Dude, it's Rick James."
Eddie: "Waldo, that's my dad."
Waldo: "Your dad is Rick James?"

Episode Money Out The Window

Steve: "What in Sam Hill do ugly women have to do with football?"
Eddie: "Weasel, your betting system bites! We bet on 10 games and lost 8 of them."
Weasel: "Might I remind you that we also won 2 games, Mr. Glass-Is-Half-Empty?"
Waldo: "Hey, I want an Indian name, too!"

Episode We're Going To Disney World

Eddie: "How far have we gone?"
Waldo: "250 miles. We're coming up on a little town called Kin-na-da."
Eddie: "That's not Kin-na-da! That's CANADA!! Man, you been driving the wrong way for the past 4 hours!!"
Waldo: "Well, this is a fine time to tell me. What a doofus!"

(Eddie and Waldo's hitchhiker, India the vegetarian, mentions going skinny dipping.)
Eddie: "We're going swimming."
Waldo: "Cool! I'll grab my trunks."
Eddie: "Nah, man. We're going skinny dipping."
Waldo: "You want me to get naked in front of a vegetarian?"
Eddie: "Well, we're here. Where are we goin first?"
Carl: "To the airport. We're leaving."
Eddie: "Aw man..."
Waldo: "Boy, Disneyland was fun. But I kinda pictured more rides."

What has Waldo been up to lately?
Waldo Geraldo Faldo, a.k.a. Shawn Harrison, went on to record an educational children's album in which he traveled the world and sang different ethnic songs. The album was aptly titled, "Where's Waldo?" and was released in 1996. The album sold poorly, and on top of poor sales, Faldo had to deal with a copyright infringement lawsuit from Martin Hanford, the author of the "Where's Waldo" books. Things never came to fruition with his onstage girlfriend, Maxine Johnson, and they haven't talked in years. Faldo took a last stab at serious acting with a guest appearence on "The Parkers" as a pimp named Peaches in the episode, "Sister, Sistah". Waldo Faldo currently resides in Houston Texas and lives with his dog, Twinkie.

More quotes from Waldo.

"No prob, Bob."
"Life is short...and so is Gary Coleman."
"You guys think you can walk all over me because I'm dumb. But I have feelings, too. If you cut me, do I not cough? If you hit me, do I not sneeze? And if you call me names, do I not eat?"
"I feel your pain. I was afraid to walk until I was ten."

and...

"I'm no scientific rocket."

"What's up?"

"Oh, cool."

"No prob, Bob!"

"Oh, like making a phone call is sooo macho."

"Well I, for one, am appalled. Eddie, cheating is wrong and you should know that. Now I may get F's but by golly, I earn them!"

"It ain't over until the fat lady takes a shower."

(After finding a shrunked Carl and Steve) "Oh my God! I'm 90 feet tall!"

"Whatcha gonna do now, Willie?"

I like that one episode where Eddie and Waldo are talking over the phone and Eddie says "Waldo, Ted and Maxine are incammunicado" (not sure how to spell that) then Waldo says "Wow, is that in Mexico?" Eddie says "no that means Ted dumped Maxine" Waldo-"Ted dumped Maxine in Mexico!" Eddie-"Waldo this is your opportunity" Waldo-"I don't want to go to Mexico"
