I watched this movie and it just made no sense because there were so many missing characters. First of all why wasn;t there someone playing the characters of

Mrs. Roper
Larry
Lana
Terri

Just seemed like the movie REVOLVED AROUND THE Chrissy Character. So they could have just called it the True Story of Suzanne Somers. I never want to see this dumb movie again.

Guess you didn't watch the entire thing, because there was a Mrs. Roper and Terri. Though I think Larry should have been in it, Lana wasn't really needed in the movie, though, they could have mentioned her.

Actually, the movie is great. Critics and fans liked it, should get a few Emmys nods.

No i don't rememer seeing Mrs.Roper, only Mr. Roper when he asked the producer can he come back to Three's Company. The movie was still all about Suzanne Somers.

Re-watch the movie on the 24th on VH-1, there is a Mrs. Roper FOR SURE. I even have proof of her being in it, check my website and check the NBC movie section and you'll see a photo of the Ropers.

They did focus on the entire contract debate, but that's a popular subject when it comes to what happened backstage so I was expecting it to go around the contract thing. Too bad the Terri person (Anne Ross I think) didn't have any lines. There was a scene with Norman and Audra being asked if they wanted to do the spinoff, and another one earlier in the movie when they did a chicken scene from TC (the scene was never on the show, but it illustrated a misunderstanding you could expect on it.)

Here is a photo from NBC Media Village. It's also on PB's site I think.

Maybe that's why I said there wasn't a terri in the movie, she had no lines-LOL

There's no point for you to be on these boards anymore. You bitch and moan about anything and everything and disagree with everyone. You need to be banned.

O_o...I dont see why he should be banned for saying that but that's your opinion :) lol

Well anywayz, I agree, it's not fair that they focussed on making the story look bad for Suzanne and her husband, and I wish Terri had some lines. Cindy was potrayed as a REALLY bad actress.....

I knew before I watched the movie that it would probably mostly focus on the Suzanne Somers deal....I mean if you are familar with the behind-the-scenes things that went on with Three's Company then you should have known that the movie would mostly be about the contract disput...but anyway....I know I was not disapointed with the movie at all...:happyface

Hey everybody. I'm not bumping this topic up for the fight, I'd just like to add my input about the movie. I liked it. Thought they did a really good job on it. Okay, I really like Mr. Furley better than the Ropers, but I just couldn't believe how they did Norman. Talk about a royal screw over. Anyway, I liked it.

I think if the movie revolved around all the characters it would hae been something to watch again. They should have called that movie the The True Story of Suzanne Somers.

I thought it was decent, all it really was, was a well produced E! True Hollywood story. I thought it did focus way too much on the Suzanne Sommers contract dispute, but I guess that's really the only memerable drama associated with that show.

All it really did was further bury Suzanne's name and showed us in detail how they put her in her place. In all honesty she wasn't the star on the show, and it's sad that people around her were so greedy and thought because she was good looking and wore skimpy clothes that she carried the show. How sad. But she learned her lesson eh?

Larry should have been mentioned too, since he was a main part of the cast, but oh well.

I find it funny that in the movie ABC was in dire needs of ratings, kind of how they are now. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I think they should do an NBC movie about the rise and fall and rise and fall of ABC.

I should stay on topic, but I already voiced my opinions about the movie in the movie reactions thread. There, I did say that it was disappointing all the focus was on Suzanne, even though I expected her to soke up most of the attention. Talking about thigh master and showing some fights with the husband in their home were unnecessary. The movie wasn't a complete waste though. As far as TV movies go, it was decent.
