Hi,
I was just informed that Family Guy is on the verge of cancellation......again. Now this protest has worked before. If enough people send letters to these people, maybe the show will have another chance....

Even if you do or even if you don't mean it. We need to get this out in the open and hopefully renew the show for at least one more season.

Those of you who have been checking out some of the Family Guy web sites may have noticed that a campaign is on to persuade UPN to pick up the show. I'm not surprised by this, not because Fox has decided to halt production of the show, but because UPN reportedly tried to pick up the show two years ago. Fox axed the show in 2000 due to low ratings, almost paving the way for UPN to secure rights to the show. But when FG's ratings began to pick up, Fox decided to un-cancel it.

But since it now appears unlikely that Fox will order another season of FG, I urge you to write to UPN, and try to persuade them to pick up the series. I understand that all U.S. vicinities have UPN affiliates, but having Family Guy on UPN is better than no Family Guy at all.

Here's the address:

Dawn Tarnofsky-Ostroff, President
UPN
11800 Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90025

There is also an email address to contact UPN: feedback@upn.com

But I advise you to first send a physical letter (or postcard). Snail mail is old-fashioned, but old-fashioned methods are usually still the most effective methods.

Just ask UPN to pick up Family Guy. Tell them how much the show means to you. But be short and to the point. Also, be civil. And since networks care about demographics, it's a good idea to mention your age.

This may be our last best chance to see Family Guy stay in production for a few more years, so don't delay.

Hope this information helps.
