Now first and foremost, 20th Century Fox releases both shows. Which show do you like the best? I think they are both unique in their own way, yet I can't say one is better than the other. What do you think? Let the contest begin.........:happyface

I like the Simpsons better because it has been around much longer and because the characters on the Simpsons are better than on Family Guy IMO.

Please Simpson fans, don't kill me, but...
I believe the Family Guy is the funniest animated show on TV right now. The Simpsons have enjoyed a great run, but I do think they have slipped a few notches over the past few seasons. Family Guy is outrageous, smart and irreverent, which is what Fox was shooting for when they were the pioneering prime time animation a few years ago (with shows like PJ's), now their animated programming (Simpsons, King Of The Hill, Futurama - when they decide to air that show) have become a little stale. Family Guy is one of the best shows Fox has had in years.

I don't know, both shows crack me up. But Family Guy still has a huge shock factor that the Simpsons doesn't have any more.

i like the family guy. it has a great sense of humour and pokes fun at everyone.
so does the simpsons.
but im leaning towards the family guy...i do like the old simpsons episodes...the new ones are such crap

I would have to say the Simpsons. Family Guy had potential to drill the Simpsons into the ground but the idiotic execs at fox cut the show way too early.

Yeah I agree. Family Guy was hilarious and had major potential but FOX cut it after 3 seasons. I think it could've went on for at least 3 more seasons.

i think simpsons hole show is funnier but famly guy is funyer in its individual frames
