I got thinking last night (at work)
and won't a reunion special pretty
much match up with Rob and Laura's 50th wedding anniversary? The show
was first filmed in January '61
and Ritchie was five years old.
I think you could reasonably place
the wedding at maybe 1954 and
that might match up when the
special would be shown. Mary was
seventeen when her son was born,
Laura got married at seventeen,
and Mary's gonna be 67 in December.
That's 50. And it seems like that
would be a nice event to put in the mix while Rob's trying to come up with Alan's eulogy. Seems like it's
ripe for some funny and touching
conversations. Of course, Carl
Reiner know best there. But, I
wonder if that 50th thought
crossed his mind. Am I wrong,
or do the numbers match up?
