I never saw this. What happened? Was it any good? I know Sam & Diane were gonna get married, but didn't. Why not? And why did she leave? What was the episode about?:confused: :confused:

Diane left to finish writing her book. She told Sam that she would be back in 6 months... but of course she didn't return in that span of time.

this is when they're about to get married and she says "I do" and sam says "I can't let you do this, you have to go and finish your book"

then throughout the entire episode they keep having scenes with a Sam and Diane in the future after being married for like 50 years and its soooo cute! Here's a picture of Shelley long in the Old Diane Make-up (i couldn't find one of sam)
