I didn't know Philadelphia was 0-4 on Fridays. I didn't even know they had those kinds of statistics. Anyway I disagree, I think the 76er's will win the next game. I think they'll have a bad taste in their mouth from the bad call made at the end of last nights game, and they'll come out with a purpose, and light Detroit up. I don't know what the score will be, but I believe Philadelphia will make it to game 7, and win. They are still my Eastern Conference pick to make it to the Finals.

If this series goes 7 games, i believe Detroit will win cause Detroit plays very good at home. I didn't see game 5 but i heard that Derrick Coleman interfered with Chucky Atkins basket at the last second. Derrick should've left the ball alone to see if it would've went in. Derrick has been playing very well lately. He had 23 points & 13 boards in game 5 i think.

I think Derrick Coleman is slightly ******** because that FOOL knew the NBA has instant replay now so why the hell would he knock the ball out of the basket? Makes no sense at all.

There was no bad call. It was obviously goaltending. I hope the Pistons win tonight, a road win would be really good right now, but I do think that if it goes to game 7, the Pistons will win.

I don't think the Pistons want to put thereself in that situation because playing game 7 at home doesn't mean you are automacially going to win. I honestly feel they have to be like the Spurs and get it over with toinght on the ROAD.

WELL MR> SHY GUY, i was saying that the last 4 games on a friday for the sixers at home for some reason resulted in a loss. SO I WAS RIGHT LOL- They lost again on a FRIDAY-LOL The sixers finished out the season 0-5 at the First Union Center in their last five games on a Friday night. And my prediction was closed to the final score

My prediction-PIstons 90- Sixers 83
Final Score- Pistons 93- Sixers 89

I know Game 7's at home don't automatically constitute wins but I guess it doesn't matter now since the Pistons won. Bring on New Jersey! :D

That actually wasn't the call I was referring to. The call you mentioned was clearly the right call. I was talking about another play that happened at the end of a game, which I thought happened at the end of the 76er's Pistons game. There was a really horrible call made at the end of a recent game, and for some reason I thought that call was made in game 5 of this series. There have been so many games lately I just got confused I guess. Anyway congratulations Pistons. Looks like my prediction was wrong.

Go Detroit, i didn't think they were gonna win last night. My boy Chauncey Billups put it on Philly with 28 points & 3 three pointers. Tayshaun Prince also had a good game with 14 points. I wonder why Tayshaun didn't play a whole lot during the regular season. LOL@Keith Van Horn only scoring 2 points in 45 minutes.

Yeah Solomon i'll give u your props. Solomon what basketball websites can i check out old NBA player stats on their old teams? I'm looking for this dude who had the last name Jordan that played for the Lakers in the mid 90's when they had Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel, Elden Campbell, Cedric Ceballos. He didn't play that much at all, he was a bum.

I really don't know what site for old stats. try askjeeves.com and post that question and they may give you a listing of sites.

You know i could have used another stat about the sixers game last night in philly. I could have said that all bad things happen in 3's meaning that the Philadelphia Eagles season ended in phila back in january, the Philadelphia Flyers season ended in philly earlier in May and since the Sixers were in a Elimination game at Philly you had to go with that stat for the money.

I don't think anyone thought the Pistons were going to win last night. I know everyone here was preparing for game 7. But instead tomorrow will be game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. I'm very excited about this. :D

After watching the replay of that Chucky Atkins layup that Derrick Coleman supposedly goaltended, i don't think Chucky's shot was going in anyway cause all Derrick did was touch the bottom of the net. Chucky's shot wasn't going in even if Derrick didn't touch the net so i think Philly deserved to win game 5. Detroit got lucky.

Well I was wrong about the Sixers/Pistons series, but I have also been right a fair share of times too, so my prediction is that New Jersey will win the next series in 6. I think Detroit has a very very bright future, as well as a very good team, but I think New Jersey's playoff experience, as well as Jason Kidd's incredible court vision will be too much for the young Detroit in the end. Of course like I said before, with the Eastern Conference each team is so evenly matched you just never know, but my gut is telling me to go with Jersey in 6.

WHAT?????-Obviously you didn't see Game 5 because the ball was going in before coleman touched it.

No Chucky Atkins shot wasn't going in, trust me, it wasn't. Watching the Nets & Pistons game today hurt my eyes cause that game was horrible to watch. It was a very low scoring game which is Detroit's style but the Nets were killing them with those fast breaks. Jason Kidd is so awesome, i don't know what else to say about the man. He's the best point guard i've seen since Magic Johnson.

The Pistons wasted one scoring opportunity in the 4th when they gave the ball to ben wallace. And Ben knows he is not supposed to shoot the ball in the 4th quarter. He should know better than that
