I've just finished watching the "I've Got A Secret" episode that I taped last night. (The one where Alex reveals that she once posed for Playboy).

I thought that this was an EXCELLENT episode....plenty of hearty laughs (well-distributed among the various characters), but it also showed good development in the "Alex Lambert" character.

As some of you may remember, I didn't like Alex at ALL in her first couple of "WINGS" appearances...but in THIS episode the character is somewhat softened and shown to be HUMAN instead of a cold witch. I can honestly say that I now actually LIKE Alex, and I consider her a true part of the "gang"!

This was one of those episodes that simply had TOO many good lines and laughs to list here....plus it was a well-written and well-acted "character development" story!

Way to go, "WINGS"!

I thought the episode was great ... :D ... although I felt really bad when Alex told Antonios secret in front of everyone ... :( ... overall I give it 2 wings up ...

Yes, poor Antonio bore the brunt of that unfortunate situation...but hey, at least the guy got a nice facial out of it!

(I also loved how Fay "kicked butt" at the end of the episode and ordered both Helen and Alex to get their act together....and both ladies "hopped to"! That Fay is always FULL of surprises!)

yeah, it was a good episode. I agree with you pilotguy- it was a good character development episode for Alex.. I like her now more than I did in the first episode she was in

I thought it was a funny episode too. I thought it had good character development for Alex and a nice development of the Helen/Alex friendship.

Antonio with the facial mask was so funny! I don't know of any guys who'd let anyone do that to them. He seemed to be having a fine time with the girls. My favorite part (besides the facial mask) was when Helen and Alex were making fun of the way men sit and watch ball gamess and Antonio comes in and says, "Hey, is there a ball game on?" :rotflmao:

I thought it was pretty mean of Alex to go telling the airport Antonio's secret without confronting him and Helen in private first, but I guess then it wouldn't have been funny.

lol yeah that was funny. when me and my brother and our cousins were younger, and the 4 of us used to hang out, we used to do stuff like that to my brother. hehehe. It was my brother, and then the 3 of us girls. and we used to do stuff like that to him. like, "ooh! let's give Danny a facial!!" lol. he sometimes objected to it, but he never refused to let us do it. lol... well... he did turn out to be gay tho.... hmm that explains it. LOL!
So yes, maybe Antonio is the only STRAIGHT guy I can think of who would wear a facial mask. hehehe

So why did the lady who played Alex decide to leave the show? Don't tell me she really did get a gig posing for Playboy...

It's a crying shame. I thought she made a better match for Brian than Amy Yasbeck did. Ah well... the show still rocks. :)
