View Full Version : Here is the reason why Final Exams were pointless in College
TVFactFan 05-15-2003, 07:58 AM becuse the final exam was the only test that you never got back from the professor because you were either going home for Winter or Summer Break. So you would have to usually have to look outside the professor office for your overall grade. And since the final exams was a test that I normally didn't get back, how do we know the profesor really grades it? Anyone Agree?
Nanny Fine 05-15-2003, 09:13 AM Whenver I read your subject titles I feel like I'm reading the episode list from Days and Nights of Molly Dodd.

*Melissa* 05-15-2003, 09:33 AM A lot of my professors give the final exam the week before we leave for the break. That way they can return it the next week and we can see what grade we received on the test.
Mysty Eyes 05-15-2003, 09:58 AM Just because you don't get the exam back before break doesn't make the exam pointless.
Oh, BTW, depending upon the professor and the class subject, it is not at all unusual for exams and term papers to be read/graded by someone other than the professor. A "reader" or student aide frequently performs the task.
dawsongirl 05-15-2003, 02:59 PM Some of my profs told us they'd send us our tests if we wanted them back. They grade them, trust me.

You probably never been within 10 feet of a college. I doubt if you even know what a final exam is which makes you sad. Certified LOSER.

Are you saying that people who don't go to college are losers?? That is the downright stupidest thing I've ever heard!! Just because someone does not go to college does not make them a loser. Maybe they didn't have the money...maybe they didn't have the opportunity. God, you're ignorant. Crawl out of your hole once in a while, pea brain. Oh, and that first sentence of yours...it's not grammatically correct. So much for college.

You have absolutely crossed the line. WTF Is wrong with you???
I DID go to college. But *divulging too much information so I suspect you will berate me for it later* I come from a family with very little support of any matter. I was on my own and could not afford to go to school AND live, I had to work so I had to quit college after a yera. I went to a top ranked college in this nation, one that has churned out National champions in many NCAA sports. I'm by far not a dummy or a loser. I've tried to make the best of situations I've been put in and this was one of them.
I'd MUCH rather have been able to finish college but it was not possible and it's not an option for me right now.
Solomon do you not know when to stop, do you not know when enough is enough? Do you have no social skills? You certainly show a lack of them on the internet, I can't imagine how you are in real life. It's really, really sad.

That is the most obnoxious comment I have EVER read. "Nanny Fine" makes an observation about the subject of your posts, and you reply that Nanny Fine is "sad" and a "certified loser". I say: you're a SORE loser that you cannot take a joke. Sense of Humor 101 anybody? Or are classes pointless too?

First of all, you told me i was on your ignore list so if that is the case why do you keep attacking me about the topics i post on sitmcomsonline????????????????

YOU ARE ON MY IGNORE LIST. I didn't even READ this thread, I only read the topic when I posted about Molly Dodd. Then I get a PM telling me that you made a very demeaning derogatory post against me and I responded.
Don't flatter yourself into thinking I read everyone of your ridiculous and cruel posts.
I do not.
That was hardly what anyone could call an attack. I merely made an observation. You hit below the belt without provocation, as usual. However, no skin off my nose. You only succeed in showing everyone on these boards what you're made of.

What the hell? You were totally out of line for calling her that! And even if you are "just messing with her" it's not funny. Probably you think it is but is anybody else laughing? No. I don't mind your arguments over petty things (i.e. Good Times is not a spinoff of Maude; don't even get me started on that) and persistent stubborness so much but when you insult others that just goes way too far in my book. How did you even know whether or not she went to college? Can you see through your computer her resume? I didn't think so.
Janice 05-15-2003, 11:25 PM Solomon, I'm surprised at you. I don't recall you ever personally slamming someone. What's up with that?

I was just responding to a smart message Nanny Fine left for me that's all. Of course i was just playin because i don't know if she been to college or not. But that was all.
DarleneIllyria 05-16-2003, 12:20 AM Namecalling is a no no. :nonono: We ought to be able to express our opinions without dragging that crap into it.
Well, anyway whenever I had finals in hs, sometimes we would get them back the week after we took them. Sometimes the teacher would grade the tests on the day the class took them. Other times we never got them back. If I really wanted to know my grade and I didn't get my test back, I could go up to the teacher and ask what I got on my test. Hey, I'm not talking about college, but I figured I'd might as well answer anyway.

Oh, thank goodness! I thought I was going crazy for moment. I am glad that I am not the only one that is seeing this "bizarre" change in SOLOMON. He has been acting very strange lately. This is not like him but I may be wrong.

Janice, I too have noticed a recent "change" in SOLOMON. I've been asking the same question myself about SOLOMON. Could it be that he's having a personality change or something? What's going on???
FILL US IN SOLOMON!

It's still unclear how she supposedly attacked you. She pointed out the similarities between your post titles and an episode guide. It wasn't meanspirited or malicious or even personal. A mere observation. So just what did she say that was so terrible you had to call her an uneducated loser?

Well i guess i was in the wrong and owe her an apology. I just thought she was trying to be smart.
