I got to thinking about the rate of program aquisitions for Nick At Nite's "Modern TV Classics" future lineup. If they continue the Modern Classic theme indefinately, here is a lineup I believe could head the prime-time network by 2012, all in hour-blocks (this is just my imagination talking)...

* The Simpsons (9pm/8pm CT)
* Seinfeld (10pm/9pm CT)
* Friends (11pm/10pm CT)
* Frasier (12am/11pm CT)

Now, I get the year 2012, simply because Turner Broadcasting has the rights to Seinfeld locked in until 2011. I feel by this time, the other three aforementioned shows would be worthy for N@N's prime spots. Of course, you could also stick in Everybody Loves Raymond while you're at it...anything's possible.

I never watch N@N anymore anyway. The Simpsons definately DO NOT belong there.

By then, shows from the 90's will be old. Well old enough to be on N@N.

I do think Seinfeld and Frasier will come eventually. Although I won't watch them on N@N. Besides by that time those shows will have all seasons out on DVD.

Notice there are not Double Takes and especially no Cosby Show.
