What's Christine up to? There's got to be more to the story than just stealing Simon away. Looks like trouble!!

Being scared of Happy isn't strange except that it made it clear that she didn't walk dogs. A lot of people are scared of dogs.

yeah, but the fact that she did claimed to walk dogs, than then acting like that towards dogs is strange. I have a neice thats afraid of dogs. I mean terrified. She got bit when she was a baby, by a small dog, and to this day (she's 6 now) she still runs from them.

Well it was pretty clear that she lied and didn't pick the best lie to try. I don't know why she would have picked that. It also kept her from being able to find out if a dog lived in the house. It probably wasn't too believable because people who are afraid of dogs would try to find out right away if there is a dog in the house. On the other hand, maybe that is why she made up the story, to try to find out if there was a dog in the house. People who are afraid of dogs often make up stories to try to find out if there is a dog in the house. In reality, she would be out of that house no matter how much she liked the people, if she's afraid of dogs. I still liked the scene, though, because people have been coming into that house for years, and it doesn't seem believable that not one of them would have been afraid of the dog, so I'm glad they showed someone who was. Also, Peter's useless words, "Happy won't harm you", were exactly the kind of thing a real person would say.
