I live in Massachusetts and am a big fan of AT&T 3. If you are unfamiliar with what that is ... it was a a regional change that had local news and what now, but also aired some great series ... such as Family Matters, Family Ties, Mork & Mindy, and many other classics over its 2 or so year existence.

I went to turn it on this morning, and it was gone. It has been replaced by the national ComcastNetwork (CN8). No more local news, no more sitcoms, no more nothing ... just the same stuff everyone gets all across the country. As far as I know AT&T 3 was quite profitable, so why did't they just keep both channels?

It's really just too bad :(

Because Comcast bought AT&T Broadband, Comcast is now your cable provider and they will be removing anything involving AT&T.

I understand why they did it ...

I just don't understand why they would close something that makes money!

I got Comcast and I never heard of that station. They showed Family Ties. Do you know what time?

Family Ties aired at 4PM and then 8PM at different points in time on AT&T 3.

If you have Comcast and never had AT&T Broadband Cable, you would have never had the privilege of getting this station!

Our AT&T Broaband Comapany recently got bought out too. Now the service we have here in Colorado is Bresnan Communications. I don't know if it's just Colorado or if it's by this name elsewhere.

That's weird ... I thought Comcast bought out all former AT&T Broadband systems?
