who will win?

Is this a real publicity shot from the film? I'm not completely sure about the plot- I've a few things cleared up- but a few people give a few different versions of what happens. OK- jason will probably win- then freddy will mysteriously come back. Honestly- I don't know why they continue those series- at least they finally clashed the two- though it couldn't hurt to clash it with the Halloween films in a giant- 80's horror films blackout- where it all finally ends, cos the stories have finally overlapped. It makes sense to finish this way- but if it comes back again- then it's pointless. What's the point in killing something that can't be killed- everytime Jason's killed they leave him in a very accessible busy place to come back- can we spell V-O-L-C-A-N-O?

No they changed the date, It now comes out on August 15th.

What happened to Lisa Wilcox, who played Alice from parts 4 & 5. I thought she was gonna reprise her role in the movie. A while back I saw her name on the credits list on the imdb.com and now it's not there. Did they decide to cut her out? If they did that was wrong, so very wrong. :nonono: I wish Heather Langenkamp was gonna be in this one. She's my favorite actress other than Lisa from the Elm Street films. Anywho, it sounds kind of corny, but I watched the trailer for it and it kind of looks good so who knows.

I think Fredy will win! But maybe thats what everyone thinks and Jason will surprisingly win or maybe they both die together OR maybe it will end not telling who one for a sequal? I guess we shall never know until August!:crazy:

I know, If you go to Upcoming Horror Movies.com and search for FVJ You'll see Lisa's name in the credits. I don't know if she will be in the movie but lets keep our fingers crossed ok Holly. Cause Lisa Wilcox is so beautiful! ;)

Freddy will win. He comes from nightmares, so he can do a whole bunch of crazy stuff, life morph into a human snake thing. But all Jason can do is run around with a machete.

Jason MIGHT sleep. I mean...he did sleep in the lake for quite a few years...after all, he had no choice cuz he was chained.

Watch out for Jason Ritter! Yes, TV legend John Ritter's oldest son! Jason is 23 I believe, if I'm not mistaken. He will play the lead good guy, Will. You can also catch Jason in a new CBS drama Fridays this fall at 8pm E/P.

According to interviews I've read, it doesn't seem like Lisa will be in it. I met her in May, but I forgot to ask her. She's really nice in person, though.

These series are old and tired. The original films were horror classics and every movie after that was the same formula. Villian walks into mysterious, fictional setting, there are a bunch of horny teenagers, and they all get killed in some malicious manner.

But Freddy I think will win since he can do psycological things to his opponent

the first 4 friday the 13th movies and the first ANOES movie are horror classics, some of the greatest ever made along w/ movies like texas chainsaw massacre, psycho, black christmas, halloween, alice sweet alice, exorcist, omen, amityville horror, when a stranger calls, evil dead, and child's play

I Always thought Jason was kinda funny, I Dunno why but a man with a chainsaw is funny to me :lol:

jason used a ton of different weapons including knives, his own hands, machetes, chainsaws, axes, arrows, spears and a ton more. plus and freddy and jason are already dead, you cant kill a dead guy. freddy only has a claw hand for a weapon so id say jason has the advantage. also jason is a big guy, freddys pretty small comapred to jason. well... both of them are pretty much invincible because people have tried to kill them but havent. i bet new line cinema will end up screwing up because in king kong vs godzilla, king kong was blown up to like 30 times his size. if kong was the real size godzilla couldve stepped on him...

i soooo want to see that movie! im really into ghostly/dead stuff:cool:

Watch out for Katharine Isabelle! Yes, production designer Graeme Murray's daughter! Katharine is 21 I believe, if I'm not mistaken. She will play a character, Gibb. You can also catch Katharine in the Ginger Snaps sequel and prequel. both coming soon!

I have a couple of things.....I think or I want Freddy to win. And I think they should make Leather Face vs. Michael Myers. That would be a good fight cuz there both could be real.

I talked to my brother on the phone last night, and he told me that the next installment of the Friday the 13th series will be Jason verses Mike Myers from the Halloween series. Is that true? If it is, I don't know who I'd pick in that fight. Probably Mike Myers.

By the way, sorry I started a thread with the exact same title as this one. I didn't know that somebody already posted this topic.

Everyone in my theater was rooting for Freddy, cuz Freddy rules.

A note: Freddy does not have ONLY a "claw hand," he has the psychological advantage. And he can morph into anything and appear out of nowhere. You hear Jason lumbering after you before he can get you, so you have the chance to run away.

Freddy also can read your fears and apply them before he kills you. With Jason, it's just *scream, hack, hack, thud* and you're dead. Freddy plays around with your head first. Which is cool.
