LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - When "American Dreams" ends its freshman season on Sunday, May 18, it will have two modern-day pop singers going back to the '60s with it.
Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland, who has recently begun to enjoy success from her own solo career ("Simply Deep" ), will guest star as Martha Reeves of Martha and the Vandellas, performing "Nowhere to Run" on the NBC's period drama's "American Bandstand" set.
In addition, Stacie Orrico ("Genuine" ), who at one time was the opening act for Destiny's Child, will appear as Peggy Santiglia of The Angels, singing "My Boyfriend's Back."
