View Full Version : Amy In Credits? Cop7 05-12-2003, 06:33 AM Does anyone know if Monica Horan will be goining the opening credits next year as an official cast member or will she remain credited as just a guest star at the end of the episodes? Chocoholic 05-12-2003, 08:02 AM I don't know, but I hope she's added. I think she'd make a grat addition. This show seriously needs some new material. Robert and Amy's engagement has been the only high point of the season for me. twinkle44301 05-13-2003, 11:47 AM I agree they need to add some new material. I used to watch the show faithfully, but now, I usually watch only the first 10 minutes or so. As for Amy (Monica?) being added to the credits, I think they probably will (assuming the show makes it another season). I don't know where I heard this (possibly posted somewhere on this board), but I remember hearing/reading that the woman that plays Amy is married to someone connected to the show and the "gang" wasn't happy that she got the part (no auditions were held). I personally think she is great and I would like to see more storylines about Robert/Amy. The "Marie is so smart" and "Debra is so dumb" storyline is wearing thin. And how many more times can Frank say...Holy Crap? MTM1Fan 05-13-2003, 02:23 PM The woman who plays Amy is married to the show's executive producer, Phil Rosenthal. I remember reading that article, too. However, it was in one of those supermarket tabloids and we all know about those. I hear that Patricia Heaton and Monica are actually really good friends in real life and someone who went to Patricia's book signing said she was there also. Brad and Ray only had good things to say about her, too. I doubt the article is true. twinkle44301 05-13-2003, 04:35 PM Actually, I haven't read the tabs in years (I am sure I heard it somewhere else), however, one of the tabs was dead-on when they produced the picture of OJ in the "butt-ugly" shoes that he claims he didn't own, so I don't think I be so quick to write them off after hearing a different story from a friend. As far is what you heard, it may not be true also. The celebritys tend to support one another for the sake of the show. Always putting on a good front, you know. Can you imagine the cast saying negative things about the producers wife in front of the fans at a book signing? I can't. Oh well, it won't matter unless the writers get on top of some decent storylines. MTM1Fan 05-14-2003, 01:56 PM I doubt Patricia would say something negative about Monica in front of fans at a book signing. What I was trying to say, though, was that Patricia must like Monica or else why would Monica even be there in the first place? |
