What additions to Buffy did you like and which did you hate?

I pretty much agree with your list, Chris. I really liked Tara, Anya, Angel, Spike and Faith. Liked them right off the bat. Dawn had to grow on me for a few eps, then I started liking her. Oz was okay. I def. like Tara better than Oz, but Oz was okay. I liked Wesley. Wesley only appeared in a few eps, but I really liked him.

Riley sucked. Riley def. sucked.

I'm still afraid I don't understand Riley's character. The writers wrote new characters so great. I immediate liked most of the new additions. Why did Riley suck so much? I didn't compare Riley to Angel either. Angel was awesome, but I thought of Angel as Angel, Spike as Spike, and Riley as Riley. I didn't compare characters. Riley was just boring by himself. If I compared him to Angel or Spike, I thought he would've been even more boring. Cardboard boring. I guess all shows have to have at least one rotten egg in the batch, Riley being Buffy's rotten egg. Still, the writers did great on the other newbies. It was just that one character that was boring.

I think it's because of the actor who played him. The guy didn't know how to act imo.

OMG I cannot stand Dawn at all, she's so darn whiny and so self centered, she's a spoiled brat. I also didn't care much for Tara or Drusilla. Couldn't stand Spike at first either, but now I love him.

I like everyone else, but that mean principal Buffy had after the original principal got killed, and can't stand Faith either.

You mean Principal Snyder? I know this has nothing to do with this topic, but I swear at my school the Ass. Principal acted just like Snyder. I swear Armin Shimerman must've came to my school to study the guy. It's insane, I swear. lol

May I ask, why do you hate Tara? I know why Jay hates her, but why do you? I thought Tara was a sweet and caring character. Plus she wasn't that bad looking :grineyes:

There was just always something about her that really bugged me. Plus the fact that I will always be an Oz and Willow Fan.

Tara was pretty, but from Day one she just really bugged me :(

I had to say it was FUNNY when he started screaming to the monster the mayor turned into about disorderly behavior. and Band Candy, he was GREAT in that.

Riley (Not because of the actor, I just never really liked the character).
The Trio (I'm not going to say they weren't necessary, because they were, I just really really didn't like them).

Question: Why do people not like Spike? He was absolutely one of the most amazing characters on the show! (in my opinion) So, Spike-non-likers, why?

Kennedy (I know she was a Potential Slayer, but I REALLY didn't like her..)
