I thought tonight's episode was really good. I felt so bad for JJ when he got cut from the team. And, I'm very glad that Roxanne and Meg are going to be friends again. I liked the part when Luke was teaching Meg how to drive. And, it's not fair for those boys to have a curfew. I can't wait to see the finale. I can't believe that it's been a whole season! It seems like only yesterday that I wanted to tune in to a new show called "American Dreams." I've loved it ever since the pilot. I hope it will stick around for a few more seasons.

i also think last nights episode was good. I didn't understand why Rox didn't give her dad a second chance, but then i realized that the show didnt follow the typical thing. Like on most shows, when someting like this happens, the people always do the right thing, but im glad that the writers on American Dreams decided to go the other way. as both of you had said, that it's not fair with the curfew, i agree. If they're gonna make a curfew, every one has to follow it. I felt bad for sam when the second time Meg was gonna learn how to drive and when he got puxhes for absolutely no reason at all. the police probably pushed him cuz he was hanging out with Nathen's group. but he still didnt do ne thing wrong. I did feel bad for J.J. too, he's worked his life(or his dad had) for playing football n then he gets cut. i hope he's here for the next season, cuz he joins the marines in the finale.

My favorite scene of the whole episode, was when Luke and Nathan were playing the piano together. Nathan, who is against the whites, is sitting there playing the piano with a white. That was a great scene.

The season finale looks really really good. i wanna see what happens to meg and everyone else. I love this show and i was thinking last night, what would i do if American dreams went off the air, i mean its gonna happen some time like with most shows(unless they're soaps). But i hope there are more seasons to come!

i agree with all of you the episode was really good. im glad Rox and Meg are friends again and in a way i wish Rox would give her dad a second chance but then i dont cause he will probably just leave again. I felt bad for JJ, i wonder where he went instead of going home, probably with Beth. that was great when Nathan was playing with Luke. you could tell Henry was proud when he saw that, he had that big smile on his face.

i cant wait for next weeks (although it means no new ones for awhile. but then ill be able to tape them from the start) it looks like its gonna be really good, with whatever happens with Meg.

I have to agree this episode of AD was awesome, but aren't they all??! ;) I grew up in Camden back in the day (which is about 15 mins outside of Philadelphia which means that I KNOW where all the streets that they talk of are and my father worked for Philco a huge television/radio manufacturer there in North Philly) and I remember those days well. The riots were horrible and so scarey. I too, think it was NOT fair that just because they were black that they had a curfew just because of that. I do know that everyone in my town had a 10PM curfew then. Who knows, maybe I was naive like most and didn't realize that the curfew was only meant for the blacks...sad. I got really choked up when Rox and Meg made up. I don't think JJ is accepted into the Marines since he injured his ankle...maybe another branch takes him? I can't tell from the previews if Meg is in American Bandstand or the record shop during the riots...I don't think AB was in Philly at that time, I think it was in CA by then....I do believe that Nathan saves her. As for Roxanne and her dad...I think she will forgive him and be hurt in the end - again. My heart always goes out to Sam...his cousin Nathan is trying to make him dislike the white people and since seeing Nathan and Luke play on the piano I seen a side of Nathan that looked like Sam . I can't wait until next season and I am hoping that they show reruns of this season!

I think meg is in her dads new store on girard avenue during the riots. Not bandstand. She may even be in the record store.American Bandstand was never burned down by the riots I don't think Im just guessing from Vange
