What exactly is Desilu Too? I know its owned by Lucy Arnaz and Desi Jr. Whats their purpose?

My cousin says its nothing more than a watchdog group. That Lucie and Desi Jr. scan the internet , looking at websites and if anything they find is objectable , or something is used without permission, then Desilu Too ( in other words Lucie Arnaz and Desi Jr. ) then they have the power to shut down the site and sue !!!

He goes own to say that EVERY image of Lucy an Desi, even the Mertzes, Vivian Vance, Gale Gordon ( Lucy related only ), ect..is owned by them. Is this true?

Somehow I cant see Lucie and Desi being that strict. even if they do own the image of the parents and co-stars. But then again I read awhile back about a 15 year old boy who with his money put together a website saluting ESPN only to have the Disney folks
discover it and saw that he had the ESPN logo on the site, even a link to ABC. But this didnt sit well with Disney as they ordered the site shut down and if I remember correctly the boy was sued.

When it comes to money, people can be strange.

It licenses every product you see with Lucy or Desi's face on it, etc...

They keep products in good taste also. I don't buy anything unless it is stamped w/ Desilu Too. Then I know it has been okayed.
I do have a few gifts from family members that don't have Desilu Too on them. Some of the Lucy stuff can get a little hokey.
Please don't take the hokey part badly. :crazy:
